Created between 2020 and 2021. NULL served as a platform to explore new skills and workflows in Blender 3D. Visually, some bands I was heavily inspired by were ERRA (art by Jeff Kardos), Underoath, Born of Osiris (art by Daniel McBride), and Intervals among others.
Musically, Daft Punk, Carpenter Brut, various dark electronic songs, and dozens of rock and metalcore bands influenced the song itself.
For now the song is in limbo, only publically existing alongside the main NULL video. For now…
“The NULL Symbol”
An amalgam of the numbers 2 and 0, the Yin Yang symbol, and cues from a combination of Latin American indigenous styles. Extruded and interlaced with lattice-work to represent the tumbling orbital satellite concept.
